On November 22, "Turin Sports News" reported that an American consortium acquired part of the shares of Serie A Cagliari. Despite the introduction of new shareholders, current chairman Tommaso Giulini will continue to retain control and operational leadership of the club.
This cooperation is based on the consensus of both parties on the medium and long-term strategic vision. The core goal is to support the development and construction of Cagliari's new stadium and promote the club's structural growth.
Giulini said that the addition of new partners strengthens the team’s future plans and confirms the club’s global potential. Fiori, the head of the consortium, said frankly that as a Sardinian who has supported the team since childhood, he feels deeply honored to be able to participate in protecting this club and jointly write a new chapter in its history. The club will make a formal announcement after obtaining regulatory approval and completing relevant delivery procedures.
