September 1, September 1, the Japanese Football Association announced today that the national team will recruit Crystal Palace midfielder Kamada Oji and Nijmegen midfielder Koto Sano.

At a press conference to announce the Japanese team's roster, Mori Boichi bluntly stated in an interview that in order to deal with the injury situation, he would call at least one player on the 25-man list that had been recruited. Mori Boichi and his coaching staff have taken the plane to the United States in advance to prepare for the warm-up match in September.

Both were previously selected for the list of Japanese teams in June. Kamada Oji suffered injuries before, but he returned in a timely manner in the European Union play-offs held in mid-week; Sano Kokuya was selected for the Japanese team again with his brother, Hiba Sano, since June.
