September 1 Transfer expert Skira said that Roma hopes to rent first and then buy Pesina, and the players have accepted the contract issued by Roma.
Skira said: "Exclusive news: Pesina has fully accepted a 1+3 contract issued by Roma and is willing to sign a contract with Roma until 2029. Roma is still negotiating with Monza, hoping to loan Pesina and have the right to buy out the player." Roma hopes to loan Pesina for one year, and if it buys out next summer, it will sign a contract with the player for another 3 years.
Roma needs to introduce a midfielder this summer and has a crush on 28-year-old Pessina. Pesina has been coached by Gasperini in Atlanta and is willing to work together again. Pesina was selected for the Italian national team. He suffered injuries last season and underwent surgery. He only made 11 appearances in the Serie A. Monza was unfortunately relegated. But Pesina has recovered and started in the first two rounds of the Serie B League in the new season.
