July 11 The Athletic reported that Nottingham Forest restarted its pursuit of Visa and the new offer submitted to Brentford was rejected again.

In January this year, Forest offered the striker a £25 million offer. The 28-year-old Congo international is still the team's goal, but the latest offer is lower than the winter offer and was rejected by the Forest.

Brentford priced Visa by over 50 million pounds. He scored 19 Premier League goals last season, highlighting his core position. If teammate Mbemo leaves the team, his importance will be further enhanced. Mbemo was favored by Manchester United, but the clubs of both sides have not reached an agreement yet.

Forest has agreed to Ilanga's transfer to Newcastle United, and Morgan Gibbs White is becoming Tottenham's number one signing target.

Visa joined Brentford from Lorient in August 2021, with one year remaining in the current contract and one year renewal option.

If Visa leaves the team, it will intensify the wave of huge changes in Brentford this summer. Thomas Frank, who once brought him to England and trained him to become a top striker, has transferred to Tottenham with three coaching staff members.

captain Christian Nolgo just joined Arsenal, and last season's scorer, Mbemo, also told the club that he wanted to transfer to Manchester United.
