May 22 In the Europa League final, Manchester United lost to Tottenham 0-1 and missed the championship. Manchester United defender Dalot was interviewed after the game.
Dallot first said: "Obviously, this season is a disaster. We have to look at ourselves now and see how we can improve. The last thing we need now is a gap between the fans, and we have to prove to them that we deserve it. Fans deserve more, they just need to continue to support and trust us, and I think they will always support us."
Dallot continued: "We need to change a lot, both the work and the standards need to be higher. During the holidays we will look at ourselves and analyze ourselves, and I believe the club will also analyze and make the changes we need. As players, we have to look at ourselves and see what we can do better every day. People always have high expectations, but this season is far from the level the club should have. We are responsible for that, because we are playing on the court."
