According to the official report of the FA on June 19th, Tottenham Hotspur was fined 75,000 pounds for violating the FA E21 rules. The violation involved a fan miscontrol incident in the Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
According to the allegations, Tottenham failed to ensure that its fans and/or supporters (including any person who claims to be supporters or followers) comply with order during the 49th and 79th minutes, and their actions involve using improper words or making offensive, abusive, obscene or insulting words and deeds related to sexual orientation. After Tottenham admitted the two charges, the Independent Regulatory Commission had previously issued a rectification plan to Tottenham, fined £150,000 and warned it. After appeals from the club, the Independent Appeal Committee reduced the fine to £75,000.
