Sheffield United Club officially announced that the team's defender Annell Ahmedohogic will transfer to Feyenoord for a permanent transfer. Sheffield United confirmed that it had accepted the "huge offer" from the other party, and the players would join the Dutch team from now on.

26-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina central defender Ahmedhojic joined Sheffield United in the summer of 2022. During his time at the Blades, he made a total of 114 appearances and contributed 12 goals. During his three seasons in Bramo Lane, he has experienced the key ups and downs of the team: he helped the team successfully advance to the Super League in 2022-23, then experienced Premier League relegation, and unfortunately lost in the final of the Champions League final last season and failed to return to the top league.
This former international player who no longer represents the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team due to discipline issues. This transfer is his fourth permanent transfer in his career. He has previously played for Nottingham Forest and Malmö.
Ahmedohogic became the third player to leave the team this summer transfer window. Previously, forward Ryan Brewster joined Derby County as a free agent, while Brazilian midfielder Vini Sousa joined Wolfsburg in Bundesliga for a transfer fee of 15 million euros (about 12 million pounds).
Although it lost to Sunderland in the final of the upgrade play-off last season, according to Opta Supercomputer's prediction model, Sheffield United is still the biggest favorite to win the Championship in the new season, with a probability of winning the championship as high as 26.5%. Although Ipswich, Leicester City, West Bromwich and Coventry are all seen as strong contenders, Sheffield United is widely optimistic that it will win the second-tier league championship.
Sheffield United's new season's Championship journey will start on August 9 local time. At that time, they will sit at home Bramo Lane Stadium to face their opponent Bristol City, who was promoted to the semi-finals of the playoffs last season.
