On October 14, "Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that since defender Bremer will be injured for two months, Juventus is forced to seek defensive signings in the January transfer market.
Juventus realizes that Bremer and Caval's physical condition may relapse after suffering major cruciate ligament injuries, so they need to prepare in advance.
In the central defender position, Juventus once again set its sights on Shik. Juve considered him a year ago when he fell out of favor at Paris Saint-Germain.
Now with Mourinho leaving Fenerbahce, Skriniar's situation has given Juventus an opportunity. Another alternative is Kim Min-jae, who has not played much in Bayern's lineup, but the restriction of his non-EU players is the main obstacle.
Juventus currently has a non-EU quota, and coach Tudor hopes to use it to introduce a high-level right back and midfielder.
In the right back position, Atletico Madrid's Argentina international Molina is the number one target. Although Molina turned down a loan move in August, Juventus are trying to convince him to change his mind given his limited playing time in Madrid and the approaching World Cup. Bringing in a pure right-back would also allow Kalulu to return to his preferred central defensive position.
In addition to Molina, there are other options on Juventus' signing list, including Tudor's old club in Marseille, Klose who is currently playing for Nice, and the 21-year-old Norton Cuffey from Genoa.
