Scientists renew their contract! Dortmund official: renewal with coach Kovac until 2027

August 26, Dortmund officially announced that the club will renew its contract with coach Kovac until 2027.
Kovac became the head coach of Dortmund in January this year, leading the team from 11th to 4th, successfully qualifying for the Champions League this season. Before coaching Dortmund, Kovac has coached the Croatian national team, Frankfurt, Bayern, Monaco and Wolfburg.

Dortmond and Niko Kovac move towards the future together. The head coach has extended his contract with the eight-time Bundesliga champion club until June 30, 2027.
Kovac and his coaching team took over last season in the winter, Dortmund ranked 11th, successfully leading the team to qualify for the Champions League again through a stunning season sprint.
