Wolves official: Henk striker Toru Arrocodare joins, both sides sign 4+1 year

Hupu September 1st, Wolves officially announced that the signing of Henk striker and Nigerian international Toru Arokodare is a four-year contract, including one year's option.

The 24-year-old player just won the Belgian Professional League Golden Boot Award last season, scoring 21 goals in the league and 23 goals in various competitions.

The 6-foot-6-inch (about 1.93 meters) striker plays youth football in his home country and first came to Europe in 2019 to join Latvian team Valmiera. At the age of 18, he started the official game and scored 22 goals in 34 games, showing his strong goal talent.

He then accumulated rich experience in the Bundesliga, first joining Cologne on loan, and then playing for Amiens in the French Ligue 2 League. He spent two years on loan and scored 21 goals.

The striker will transfer to Henk from then on. After joining the club in January 2023, Arrocodare won the Belgian Professional League title almost the following spring, but eventually lost in the final.

Arocodare made 52 appearances in his first full season in Belgium, seven of which were in Europe and scored 15 goals. But last season was his best season to date, and Henk once again launched a rush to the championship.
