Team exclusive: Forward Osula will stay at Newcastle; assistant coach Jones will not go to the Swedish team

Hupu reported on October 31 that Craig Hope, a famous reporter from the Daily Mail, wrote an exclusive weekly report on Newcastle United.

Although there are still many clubs at home and abroad interested in him, William Osula will not leave Newcastle in January.

According to people familiar with the matter, everyone in the Newcastle team recognizes the forward's progress and believes that even if a club is willing to pay the 30 million pounds transfer fee agreed with Frankfurt on this summer's transfer deadline, there is no other player of the same price and level on the market who is better than him.

Osula's performance in recent weeks is even more impressive considering that he is currently in excruciating pain with an ankle injury that prevents him from even practicing shooting in training.

The 22-year-old was originally set to join Eintracht Frankfurt on September 1, but the Bundesliga club attempted to downgrade the deal from a permanent transfer to a loan. The Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) concluded the deal was no longer beneficial to Newcastle and ultimately terminated the deal.

Earlier in the day, Osura reached an agreement with Aston Villa on a permanent transfer, but UEFA's spending rules ultimately scuppered this possibility.

Considering Visa's injury, it was undoubtedly a wise and lucky decision for Osula to stay on the banks of the Tyne. The young Dane will finish the season at St James' Park and it is hoped he will make significant progress once he shakes off his ankle injury.

This week, one fan compared him to Kylian Mbappe on social media. While it may seem unbelievable at first, when you watch these two players run, you'll see that their pace and gait are indeed very similar. If one day Real Madrid offers an olive branch to Osula, then he will really take a leap in his career!

Jones will not save Isaac's form

Another important figure who will not leave Newcastle is coach Graeme Jones.

In fact, the Newcastle native has worked closely with Osura over the past 15 months and is considered to have played a crucial role in his development. The pair were still talking long after Wednesday's Carabao Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur at an empty St James' Park.

Jones' friend Graham Potter recently contacted him and asked if he would be willing to serve part-time as an assistant coach for the Swedish national team. Porter, who was appointed head coach of the Swedish national team earlier this month, spent seven years in charge at Östersund.

Although Newcastle has not received a formal invitation, according to people familiar with the matter, the club hopes that Jones will continue to focus on club affairs and continue to cooperate with players such as Orsula and Nick Waltermade. Therefore, it is unlikely that Jones will team up with Alexander-Isak again.
