Hiller teases Leinker: Valdy is much better than when you were in Leicester City

On May 4th, in the 35th round of the Premier League, 38-year-old Vardy scored and Leicester City beat Southampton 2-0 at home.

Hiller and Leinker talked about Valdy's performance on the BBC program, and Hiller joked that Valdy was much better than Leinker when he was in Leicester City.

Lingker: "Leicester City legend, what an outstanding career!"

Sheeler: "It's much better than when you were in Leicester City, you old guy."

Lingker: "Thank you so much, (this remark) is a bit harsh, you are not a young man. What a great career he has!"

Sheeler: "He is the best £1 million signing in the history of the Premier League, which is really like this."

Lingker was born in Leicester City youth training and played for the first team of the Blue Foxes from 1976 to 1985.
