Liverpool star Jota died in a car accident at the age of 28. He just got married 12 days ago

Portuguese football player Diogo Jota, 28-year-old player who plays for Liverpool, died in a traffic accident in the province of Zamora, Spain in the early morning. The accident occurred 65 kilometers from the A-52 road, located in the municipality of Palacios de Sanafria. According to witnesses from the 112 emergency telephone number, Jota and his 26-year-old brother Andre (also a professional player) in the same car caught fire after the vehicle was out of control, and the fire spread to surrounding vegetation.

Diogo Jota has played for Ferreira, Porto, Wolves and Liverpool in his career. In September 2020, Jota transferred from Wolves to Liverpool, playing for the "Reds" in 5 seasons, scoring 65 goals and 26 assists.

On June 28, Liverpool striker Jota and his girlfriend Rut updated their social media updates and posted photos of their wedding.
