Xinhua News Agency, London, July 30 (Reporter Ma Bangjie) Colombia international Louis Dias said goodbye to social media on the 30th and said goodbye to Premier League champion Liverpool.
Liverpool Club announced on its official website that day that Dias has completed the transfer procedures for joining Bundesliga Bayern Munich, and the 28-year-old winger signed a four-year contract with Bayern.
Diaz joined Liverpool in January 2022 and won the Premier League, FA Cup and other championships with the team. He said that if it weren't for the tragic death of former teammate Diogo Jota earlier this month, this departure would have been a "perfect farewell."
"I came in my dreams at the beginning; now, I left with a sense of accomplishment." Dias wrote on social media, "I feel relieved to be able to leave with the feeling of accomplishing a mission, especially as a champion. If we did not lose one of our teammates in such a tragic way, it would be a perfect farewell... I will keep everyone in my heart, especially one of them: Diogo. I will never forget him. We will never forget him."
Dias scored 41 goals in 148 games for Liverpool. He contributed 17 goals in various competitions last season to help the team win the Premier League title.
