Official: New York Jets shareholder Woody Johnson completes Crystal Palace shares acquisition

July 25th Crystal Palace Football Club is pleased to announce that Woody Johnson has completed the acquisition of the club shares held by Eagle Football.
Woody Johnson will be partners and directors of the club along with Chairman Steve Parish, Josh Harris and David Bulitzer. As co-owner of the New York Jets, American businessman Woody Johnson has also signed the Premier League's Owners Charter.
After the deal was completed, Woody Johnson said: "I am honored to be part of the ownership group of Crystal Palace Football Club. It is a club with a long history and tradition with a deep foundation in the English football community in south London, and I admire it deeply during my tenure as the U.S. Ambassador to the UK. Crystal Palace fans demonstrated extraordinary loyalty, enthusiasm and unwavering support and I am looking forward to meeting and getting to know them."
