May 27th Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan expressed condolences to the injured in the accident that occurred during the parade through the club's official website.
"On behalf of all members of Liverpool Football Club, I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to all those affected by this horrific incident last night. This weekend was a time for fans across the city to celebrate and be immersed in emotions and joy, but it ended with this unimaginable tragic incident. I would like to pay tribute to the emergency services and cooperative agencies - Merseyside Police, Northwest and St. John's Ambulance Services, and Merseyside Fire Rescue. Thanks Their handling of the incident, and also thanks to the medical staff throughout the city, who are treating the wounded, including four unfortunately injured children. "
"I also want to thank the fans who witnessed the incident and helped each other in the best of their ability. We will continue to work with emergency services and local authorities to support their ongoing investigations. We again call on the Merseyside Police if anyone has any further information on the incident. Thank you."
