Casemiro: Following Argentina’s use of Messi, Brazil can also deploy tactics around Neymar

On November 11, according to Brazil's "Global Sports" report, Casemiro was interviewed and talked about the topic of Neymar.

Note: Now in Brazil, there are different opinions on whether Neymar should be re-elected to the Brazilian national team and participate in next year's World Cup. This is not only related to Neymar's physical condition (Note: Neymar has not yet fully recovered), but also to the tactical play designed by Ancelotti for the Brazilian team - Ancelotti advocates the use of a 4-3-3 formation, and the responsibilities of the two wingers are clearly defined, and today's Neymar is no longer the player who was used to moving along the wing.

In an interview with "Global Sports", Casemiro mentioned the tactical system adopted by the Argentina team in the World Cup in Qatar, and Messi's position on the field in this system. When asked whether Neymar could assume less defensive tasks in the Brazilian team, Casemiro gave his own point of view. He said: "Is it worth it to make the whole team revolve around Neymar? Of course it is. This is how the Argentine team builds its system around Messi. I emphasize again, against the best players in the world. With the top three players (Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar), you can adopt the same strategy around Neymar. This is not to say that Neymar can stand still and let his teammates run - such a situation does not exist, but the Argentine team did adapt the system to Messi. Messi will retreat to receive the ball, while Messi will serve as the "false nine". The team will retreat as a whole to deal with the opponent with a dense defensive posture, while Messi is waiting for opportunities in the frontcourt. In football, the gap between teams is very small, and these top players are the key to breaking the balance. Neymar is indispensable to any team. If he can maintain good condition, it will be crucial for our Brazilian team, because he is a special player with great strength."
