Famous mouth: James is Doncic s best teammate at this stage unless the Lakers get letters or Jokic

August 9: Fox Sports' famous vocalist Nick Wright recently talked about the Lakers on the show. He believes that unless the Lakers can introduce Antetokounmpo or Jokic in 2027, James will still be Doncic's best teammate.

Nick Wright said: "I think that during the entire cycle of this contract renewal, he will most likely not have a better teammate than LeBron now. Of course, they may sign Antetokounmpo, and I will be wrong then; or they may have a crush on Jokic, and I will be wrong. But Alexander will not leave, and Tatum will not leave. Now we don't have many better players than LeBron."

Previously, Doncic renewed the Lakers' contract with a maximum salary of $165 million in three years, with a 28-year player option.

"To be fair, LeBron does have some obvious frustration. I don't think it's a problem between Luca and LeBron. If I were the Lakers, I would pay more attention to the performance this season."
