How strong is the dominant power in the two years since Dameng won the championship?

Welcome back to the Shisan Arena.
Today I will talk about "Big Dream" Hakim Olajuwon - I will do the draft again 100 times and will also become the man who will become the No. 1 pick in 1984.
How good is the talent of Dameng?
He started to get involved in basketball at the age of 15, was selected for the Nigerian national team at the age of 17, and soon scored crazy data of 60 points and 15 rebounds in the game, which attracted the attention of NBA scouts.
then went to the United States to polish basketball skills and quickly emerged. He led the team to the NCAA Finals for two consecutive years. Although he failed to win the championship, he was still elected NCAA Player of the Year in 1983, becoming the first player in NCAA history to lose the game but be elected as MOP.
And in 1984, he lost to Ewing in the finals in the NCAA season - so in 1994, he defeated Ewing to win the NBA championship, which was a great revenge.
Then in the 1984 draft, the Rockets still used the No. 1 pick to keep Dameng in Houston without hesitation.
So Sampson and Damn, one of the best two-tower combinations in NBA history, led the Rockets to rise rapidly.
Two Towers partnered in the first year, that is, the Big Dream rookie season and Sampson's second-year class. The former averaged 20.6 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game, while the latter averaged 22.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2 blocks per game, leading the Rockets from last year's Western Conference to third in the West to return to the playoffs.
The next year, the second-year Dameng and the third-year Sampson joined hands to reach the finals - losing to Bird's Celtics 2:4, but the Great Dream Series averaged 24.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 3.2 blocks per game, replacing Sampson as the team's number one star.
What's even more regrettable is that Sampson fell down after this year. In the 1986-1987 season, Sampson only played 43 games in the regular season and his form plummeted;
Da Meng averaged 30.5 points, 12.7 rebounds and 3.8 blocks in the second round of the playoffs, but she still lost to the Seattle Supersonics.
So the next year, the Rockets sent Sampson, who was constantly injured, to the Warriors, and Houston's short-term Twin Towers era came to an end.
The big dream has also ushered in the most difficult period of my career.
1988~1991, the Rockets stopped in the first round for four consecutive years; in 1992, they could not even enter the playoffs.
Da Meng has been selected for the first team, 1 second team, 1 third team, 2 first team, 2 second team, and 1 second team in the past five years - he has become the best center in the league, but the team has always been difficult to go further.
Fortunately, after these 5 years, there will be another village of light and brightness.
In February 1992, Rudy Tomjanovic, who had been an assistant coach for the Rockets for nearly 10 years, became the team's interim head coach; then before the start of the new season, Tomjanovic successfully became a regular and successfully convinced and guided the transformation of Dameng, building the Rockets into a more team that pays more attention to cooperation and tacit understanding.
Therefore, Dameng, who has never averaged more than 3 assists per game, has averaged at least 3.5 assists per game for four consecutive years since the 1992-1993 season.
Rockets also scored 55 wins and 27 losses in the 1992-1993 season, ranking second in the Western Conference and returned to the playoffs.
Immediately afterwards, there were two consecutive championships - so when Tom Janovic was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2020, Dameng was his referee.
Without Tomjanovic, perhaps we would not have seen a big dream that evolved to the ultimate form. Although the second round was stopped in 1993, the Rockets team was already fresh and confident.
In the 1993-1994 season, they achieved 58 wins and ranked second in the Western Conference; Dameng averaged 27.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 3.7 blocks per game, winning the only MVP trophy in his career.
also officially began a cruel suppression of the other three of the four centers.
In the 1994 Finals, the Rockets 4:3 Knicks - Dameng averaged 26.9 points, 9.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals, 3.9 blocks per game, surpassing Ewing's 18.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 steals, 4.3 blocks; and in terms of shooting percentage, Dameng is 50%, while Ewing is only 36.3%.
So, ten years ago, Ewing defeated Dameng and won the NCAA championship. Ten years later, Dameng won the NBA championship with Ewing and completed the single-season MVP, FMVP, DPOY, and Double First Team Super Grand Slam.
In the 1995 Western Conference Finals, the Rockets 4:2 Spurs; the Dameng Series averaged 35.3 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1.3 steals and 4.2 blocks per game, holding down the MVP general - averaging 23.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.2 blocks per game.
Then in the finals, the young shark came in full force, but what greeted him was the ruthless sweep of Dameng. In the
series, the 32-year-old Dameng averaged 32.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks per game, surpassing the 22-year-old Sharks' 28 points, 12.5 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 0.3 steals and 2.5 blocks.
Therefore, the four centers are always the number one in the dream.
The Rockets' record that year was actually average, ranking sixth in the West; but as Tomjanovic said: Never underestimate the heart of a championship.
Of course, after reaching the top, it is inevitable that you will start to go downhill.
From the 1995-1996 season, Gliders and Dameng began to suffer from injuries and gradually aging and declined. The Rockets never returned to the finals.
Even though they had Barkley in 1997 and Pippen was welcomed after the glider retired in 1999, the team still got worse and gradually entered another round of reconstruction cycle.
So after the end of the 2000-2001 season, Dameng, who wanted to continue to compete for the championship, rejected the Rockets' pension contract, and was then traded to the Raptors - there were super defender Vince Carter and star insider Antonio Davis, who was very competitive.
But unfortunately, Carter fell down in the new season and failed to play in the playoffs, and the team was eliminated by the Pistons in the first round; Dameng is already in a state of state, with only 5.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in the series.
So after the end of the season, Dameng announced his retirement - coincidentally, Ewing's career also ended in this year, and also served as a substitute on another team, and also stopped in the first round.
