May 6th, The World Sports revealed that Dani Rodríguez, a young training treasure in Lamacia, may undergo surgery and is expected to be on duty for two to three months.

Rodriguez made his first appearance for Barcelona's first team in La Liga match against Valladolid last Saturday, but unfortunately he was forced to leave the field due to a right shoulder injury in the 38th minute of the game.

According to World Sports, the 19-year-old winger is likely to need surgery, which means he will face a recovery period of up to two to three months. In other words, in addition to being unable to help Barcelona B team fight for relegation, they may not be able to welcome the new season in their best condition.

Frick chose to make Rodriguez debut in La Liga against Valladolid before the Champions League match against Inter Milan, part of Frick's preparations for next season.

Although injuries limit Rodriguez's number of appearances with Barcelona B, he played 382 minutes in 10 games this season (three of which started) and contributed 3 goals and 3 assists.

Rodriguez is the 7th youth training player to complete his first-team debut in the Frick era. Previously, in a friendly match against Kobe Victory Ship in June 2023, he played for the Barcelona first team for 45 minutes, and was coached by Xavi at the time.

As the leader in Lamacia's youth training camp, Rodriguez is loved by Frick for his excellent skills, speed and versatility, and he can play in multiple positions in the frontcourt.

Although he had expressed interest in him, including Real Sociedad, Athletic Bilbao and some Premier League teams, Rodriguez chose to stay in Barcelona and eventually renewed his contract with the club until 2027.
