English striker Marcus Rashford unexpectedly appeared at the team's Carrington training base on Thursday afternoon despite being listed for sale by Manchester United and having a public break with coach Ruben Amorin.

Manchester United club confirmed that Marcus Rashford will leave the team this summer transfer window. The decision stems from an irreconcilable conflict between him and head coach Ruben Amorin who took office in November last year. The open conflict led to Rashford being loaned to Aston Villa in the second half of last season.

However, Villa chose not to exercise a buyout clause worth £40 million (approximately $54.3 million). This puts the 27-year-old England international to find a new owner in the next two months. It is reported that La Liga giants Barcelona are the next stop that Rashford likes.

On Thursday afternoon, Rashford was photographed returning to Manchester United's Carrington training base, which happened to be 8 minutes after Amorin left the base. This coincidence immediately sparked speculation from the outside world about whether the purpose of the trip was related to discussing the transfer.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News, Rashford's trip did not involve any negotiations about its future. Although he chose to enter through the back door of the base, the purpose was to do so simply to keep his shape and prepare for the summer transfer.

Rashford is one of five players to file a request to Manchester United for leaving this summer. Together with him, teammates Anthony, Jaden Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and left-back Tyrel Maracia are also on the attacking line.

At present, Rashford still regards transfer to Barcelona as a priority and publicly expresses his desire to fight alongside Barcelona star Ramin Yamal. Barcelona sports director Deco previously included the winger on the club's "most admired players".
