Arsenal may spend £140 million this summer to introduce two strong aids

Premier League giants Arsenal are making waves in the transfer market. The club plans to further increase its offensive firepower through heavy signings this summer, targeting two extremely powerful players: Brazilian winger Rodrigo who plays for Real Madrid and Swedish striker Tzekeles in Portugal Sports.

After signing Martin Zubimendi for £51 million, Arsenal did not stop to strengthen. According to British media The Athletic, the Gunners hope to introduce another top winger, and Rodrigo is their number one target.

Rodrigo, 24, is skilled, has excellent finishing ability, and has a strong sense of on-the-spot decision-making. If he can leave Real Madrid, he will form a daunting double-wing combination with Saka. Many fans have even begun to imagine the scene where Rodrigo gave a wonderful pass to Dzekelish.

It is worth mentioning that Rodrigo has explicitly rejected a huge salary offer from the Saudi professional league and expressed his strong interest in joining Arsenal. As long as Real Madrid agrees to release the person, the deal is very likely to be achieved.

On the other hand, Zhekelais is also eager to wear Arsenal's jersey. The Swedish striker has agreed with the Gunners on a five-year contract and is willing to give up nearly £2 million in salary to help Portugal Sports move forward negotiations with Arsenal.

At present, discussions between the two sides on transfer fees are still ongoing, with an estimated amount of approximately £60 million. This price is considered worth the money considering his performance in the Portuguese Super League (especially his amazing performance against Manchester City).

As for Rodrigo's transfer, Real Madrid will not let go easily. It is reported that they priced the Brazil international as high as £80 million and asked buyers to bear their high salary of more than £200,000 a week.

However, considering that Arsenal has made significant progress in the 2024/25 season, the management is also interested in further enhancing the depth of the lineup through a heavy signing to be more competitive in the Premier League and European arenas.

Rodrigo's attitude is undoubtedly a positive signal - he would rather give up his high salary than join Arsenal, which shows that he is confident in the team's future. The next key depends on whether the club's senior management is willing to make up their minds and invest a lot of money to turn their dreams into reality.
