Mannwan: After Mbemo, Manchester United must sell first and then buy, and the "total value" of the four players for sale exceeds 100 million pounds

June 13, the Manchester Evening News wrote an article saying that after signing Cunha, Manchester United hopes to continue to introduce players, but this means that the club must first focus on selling players in exchange for funds.
Manchester United's £55 million offer against Mbemo was rejected by Brentford, but the Red Devils are still negotiating with London clubs and are expected to submit a new offer with higher conditions when the new transfer window opens (next Monday local time).
It is reported that Brentford hopes that Manchester United will pay a transfer fee of £62.5 million to Cunha, although the latter's contract with Wolves includes a termination clause. Brentford believes that Mbemo, who scored 20 Premier League goals last season, is worth about £60 million.
If Manchester United finally sign Mbemo at this price, the next signing of the Red Devils will depend entirely on the players' sales, as they cannot invest unlimitedly this summer. Following Mbemo, Manchester United also plans to introduce a forward, a midfielder and a goalkeeper. Fortunately, many Manchester United players are actively seeking to be sold this summer, including some star players, which means Manchester United may receive considerable transfer fees. After Inelis took over, Manchester United's performance in the seller's market gradually improved, but there is still a long way to go in the skills of two-way operation of buying and selling. The Red Devils have set Rashford, Sancho and Anthony as priority sales targets. They have had different rental experiences in the 24-25 season and are not in the plan of head coach Amorin. The club will not re-incorporate them into the roster this summer.
It is understood that Manchester United's estimate of Rashford is £40 million, and Anthony has won attention in the market for his outstanding performance during his loan to Real Betis in the second half of the season. Anthony's transfer fee is expected to be £32.5 million. Manchester United could have earned up to £25 million if Chelsea agreed to sign Sancho permanently. Sancho's transfer fee is now expected to be around £20 million.
If Manchester United can sell these three players at the expected price, they will receive £92.5 million, which is enough to introduce a new striker, which remains Manchester United's primary recruitment mission.
In addition to the above three players for sale, Garnacho is also increasingly likely to leave the team. The club has informed him that if he receives a suitable offer, he can leave Old Trafford. In January this year, Naples had bid 40 million pounds to buy the Argentine winger, but this figure did not reach the Red Devils' estimate. Garnacho is a player with great potential and his base value should be £50 million.
If it can cash out through Garnacho, it will greatly help Manchester United realize its ambition to sign up this summer. Signing Cunha was a beautiful start for the Red Devils in the summer window, but even with Mbumo, Manchester United needed more than two strikers. However, it would be hard for the Red Devils to do more without a series of players selling deals that are heavy enough.
