Weidenfeller: Wilz has chosen a more difficult path, and it will be easier if he joins Bayern

October 3: Weidenfeller recently interviewed Desky and talked about joining Liverpool's Wilts from Leverkusen for a transfer fee of 125 million euros this summer.

Weidenfeller said: "He chose a more difficult path. If he joined Bayern, it would be easier for him. He is familiar with the environment there and is well protected. At Liverpool, he entered a brand new environment.
