05 May 21, Manchester United reporter Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail wrote this week's Manchester United weekly report, which mentioned Manchester United's financial situation.
Manchester United will face Tottenham in the Europa League final early tomorrow morning. The winner will qualify for the Champions League next season and can bring at least 100 million pounds of revenue to the team.
But for Manchester United, this number is comparable to their losses in fiscal 2024/25. Because it is reported that Manchester United will announce the team's loss of £40 million in the third quarter of the fiscal year in the coming weeks. Manchester United's total debt has exceeded £1 billion, including about £300 million in transfer owes.
Although Manchester United's daily operating revenue is expected to reach 160 million pounds this year, this means that Manchester United will lose for the sixth consecutive year, with a total loss of 450 million pounds.
According to last week's report, Sir Ratcliff's investment in Manchester United has shrunk to half of the 1.25 billion pounds he paid when he bought the shares, with a loss of more than 600 million pounds.
