Parker: Amorim should start Dalot as he has no contribution on both offense and defense

October 25th: In an interview, former Manchester United defender Paul Parker urged head coach Amorim to take Dalot in the game against Brighton and warned that it would be a more difficult game than against Liverpool.
Q: Do you believe Amorim will stick with Dalot against Brighton?
Parker: I am a person who believes in stability, but I just wonder if the team is a little too solid, because I looked at Dalot, after that performance against Liverpool, will Amorim use Dalot again? I would say no.
Q: Who do you think should replace him?
Parker: I saw Mazrawi sitting on the bench. I would bring on Mazraoui just because of his energy level and the fact that he defends well, defends better and is better when he gets into the final third and the attack should be more consistent at home because United are the home team and you would expect your wing-backs to be able to get in.
Q: What is your specific evaluation of Dalot's performance against Liverpool?
Parker: Ahmad will come in from the right, but if you look at Dalot on the other side, he doesn't contribute anything on both ends of the offense and defense. He's a bit of a liability on both ends. So that's what the head coach has to make up his mind to do.
Q: What do you think is the key for the team to face Brighton?
Parker: To me, that's how Amorim gets something out of the game, putting out his most athletic players. It means having enough running ability and desire to be able to run in the front and backfields.
Q: Why do you think Brighton will be a more difficult game than Liverpool?
Parker: Because Brighton does not have a midfielder that does not move very much like Liverpool and Arsenal. Manchester United's two best games this season were both against "static" midfielders who did not advance without the ball or run behind. So, that suits Manchester United well. Brighton play differently. They move the ball and are more efficient with the ball. Their forwards would run in and out. Their full-backs will push forward, so it's a more difficult game than against Liverpool.
