Paligna: Tottenham deserves to win; but the mentality of being able to fall behind 0-2 is more important

Hupu September 21st, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Palinia was interviewed by Sky Sports after a 2-2 draw with Brighton.

"We felt very, very sad when we left the court because in my opinion we were totally worthy of winning the game.

From the first minute, we showed dominance, created a lot of opportunities, and entered the final stage of the game in great shape. Although we suffered two unexpected losses, this is football.

At least we can keep our mentality of fighting for victory. It was not easy to get behind 0-2 away and then tied with a strong team like Brighton on such a tough court.

We left again with the feeling that we could have won. But now, let's move on and focus on the cup."

What do you feel about the game?

"What I feel on the court is that we control most of the game. We didn't encounter much counterattack, which is good for a team like them because they like to take the ball and create very good opportunities.

We controlled the offense and defense transition, and although it wasn't the first time we scored, we ended up playing a great game that showed our strength.

No matter what the result, this mentality needs to be maintained at all times. There is still a lot to improve on this team, but these improvements are accumulated week by week."
