Messi VS Son Heung-min! MLS 2026 season schedule: Miami’s first away game against Los Angeles FC

On November 21, the Major League Soccer League announced the 2026 season schedule. The new season will start on February 21, 2026. Miami's first game will be against Los Angeles FC on February 21.

On April 4, Inter Miami will have its first match at its new home stadium, facing Austin FC at Liberty Park.

Each MLS team will still play 34 regular season games - 17 home games and 17 away games. Inter Miami will play each of the 14 Eastern Conference opponents twice and six non-conference opponents once. Most of the team's MLS matches will be played on weekends, including 20 Saturday games and seven Sunday games.

The MLS regular season will come to an end on the "Decisive Day" on November 7 (Saturday). In the schedule of the day, the Eastern Conference matches will start at 4:00 pm ET, and the Western Conference matches will start at 7:00 pm EST. This final battle will determine the qualification spots for the 2026 Audi MLS Cup playoffs. In addition, Montreal FC will host the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at 4 p.m. ET on the last match day of the season in a cross-league showdown.

After the decisive day on November 7, the league will usher in the November FIFA competition window period, and then embark on a one-month, non-stop MLS Cup playoff journey, which will ultimately determine the winner in the MLS championship battle.
