Manchester United abandoned Garnacho as a reference when looking for a new club

11:04am, 23 July 2025Football

Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho takes his idol Cristiano Ronaldo (C Ronaldo) as an example to continue preparing for the 2025-26 season. The Argentine international is looking for a new club and was announced as a redundant player at Old Trafford last season.

Garnacho posted an article on his Instagram showing his hard work under the guidance of a personal trainer. The 21-year-old joined Ronaldo's narration at the beginning of the video and then trained in the gym.

"There is no secret, there is no secret. Dedication and hard work, you know? Being able to work 100% all the time. This is my secret."

Alejandro Garnacho is one of four Manchester United players, and the other three are Sancho, Anthony and Maracia, none of them are selected for the preseason. Other players on the team have already travelled to the United States for their tour, while the four players stayed at the club’s Carrington base, during which time they will sort out their future.

In May, after losing to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final, Garnacho had a falling out with coach Ruben Amorim. The striker was quickly kicked out of the national team, and Portuguese tacticians asked him to find a new club this summer. He did not compete in the league's final match against Aston Villa, nor did he compete in the preseason opening against Leeds United on Saturday.

Alejandro Garnacho is still young, but he has played side by side with Messi and Ronaldo. He is one of the best young men in Europe in this position. The young winger is eager to stay in England, with Chelsea and Aston Villa interested him.

It is reported that former Manchester United star will follow Ronaldo in the footsteps to Saudi Arabia's club

Former Manchester United defender Eric Bailey is about to transfer to Saudi Najima Club as a free agent. The Ivory Coast international will be the latest player to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and play in the Saudi professional league.

Fabrizio Romano reported that Bali will join the new team that finished second in the Saudi League One last season. The centre-back will be the first striking new player to strengthen his strength before the new season.

Former Manchester United star Pele left Spanish side Villarreal this summer as his second term at the club ended. The 31-year-old made 12 appearances for the Yellow Submarines in the 2024-25 season, both in La Liga.
