Premier League champion Liverpool has expanded its troops to sign a team this summer. On Thursday (26th), local time, local time announced that it would sign Hungarian left-back Cox from Bournemouth, with the transfer fee of 40 million pounds. Including this transfer acquisition, Liverpool spent nearly 200 million pounds to buy people in one month, and new players may come one after another!
Cox, 21, successfully took the lead last season, played 2 goals and 5 assists in 38 games in the Premier League, and signed with Liverpool for 5 years this time. Cox said: "Huces (Liverpool Director) took me to Bournemouth before, and he was an important reason for this transfer. Head coach Slott also explained his tactics, plans and expectations to me. I have always been determined to join Liverpool and have never considered other teams."
Liverpool has signed Flynnon (29.5 million pounds), Perth (1.5 million pounds), Wilz (116.5 million pounds) and Cox (40 million pounds), with the transfer fee being nearly 200 million pounds. If you count the players who have already joined the team last year, goalkeeper Mamada Schulli (29 million pounds) who officially returned to the team this summer, the total transfer fee of Liverpool's new player exceeded 210 million pounds. According to reports, Liverpool is not enough and is expected to sign central defender Mark Guy again. The forwards are also targeting strikers such as Isaac, Hugo Ekitic, Yorke and Osmaine. This may be a mistake to make up for a total transfer fee of 300 million pounds.
