October 14th Chelsea forward Esteban recently accepted an interview and talked about his adaptation to the Premier League, his new life in Chelsea and other topics.

The 18-year-old started his first season at Chelsea well, scoring the winning goal against Liverpool away from home and scoring his first Premier League goal. The Brazilian striker said he was proud of the level of expectations Chelsea fans have had for him: "I'm very happy with the love that Chelsea fans and the club have," he said. "It's incredible, you know?"

"The last game, when I warmed up, you could see that people were expecting something from me, expecting me to contribute on the pitch. So, I'm very happy and try to repay that on the pitch and make them feel that way. To be proud because I saw how much they valued me and how much they wanted me to be there. "

"So, the feeling is: not to let them down, to bring them joy, to do my best to make them proud in the best way possible, whether it's by scoring goals or helping the team win. I will do my best to make them very proud. "

Esteban moved to Chelsea from the Palmeiras club where he played since childhood. While he said the transition has involved a lot of changes, he's happy with how he's adjusting so far.

"I adapted faster than expected," he said. "That includes the Premier League style, the Maresca style, the European football style. And off the pitch, I think it's mainly the cultural difference, but it's very different, but I really like British culture. It's an incredible, historic culture."

"So, it's not just I and my family are enjoying it very much; my sister is in love with England. She already speaks more English than I do and is fluent. I'm happy to give her the opportunity to experience something new. I believe everything is going as smoothly as possible for the Brazilian international, who scored twice in the last 5-0 win over South Korea. He also said he enjoys playing in different positions.

"Playing in different positions has been a frequent occurrence at Chelsea, and Coach Maresca always tries to maximize my abilities. In training, he has been deploying me in multiple attacking positions so that I can expand my skill set, have more game options, and improve my skills," he explained.

"In the last game against Liverpool, I played on the wing; in the Champions League game against Benfica, I played in the center. Of course, I am open to various game options and whatever the opportunity, I can play in those positions, inside or out, depending on what is best for the Brazilian team. I believe that I can also help in other positions, so whatever is the best option for the team and the coach, I will be happy to accept it. "
