According to Liverpool's reporter Steele of the Daily Mail, Liverpool has priced at least £40 million for Elliott. Under Coach Slott last season, Elliott had limited playing time, and his only two Premier League starts were after the team confirmed to win the championship. He expressed his age and personal status that he needed to play time, and was emotionally excited and filled with tears at the Liverpool championship ceremony.
Eliott is not short of suitors. Brighton and West Ham United are very interested in him, and Leipzig is also interested. With Elliott continuing to perform well in England's youth team, Liverpool expects to receive at least £40 million before considering selling, and this price may rise.
The Daily Mail learned that Slott was impressed by Elliot in the early stages of the preseason, but after he missed for two months due to a foot injury, he was less satisfied with his training level. Liverpool spent more than 200 million pounds to sign aid this summer, of which Wilz, who was in the same position, signed for 116 million pounds. Under this situation, Liverpool has little obstacle to Elliot's potential departure. Currently, Elliott lags behind Wilz, Sobosloy and Curtis Jones in the 10th position, and is considered difficult to compete for deeper positions due to his physical condition, while Salah and Chiesa Jr. are at the right winger. Now, Elliott is in a similar situation as when Palmer left Manchester City. When Elliott tried to gain a foothold in Liverpool but couldn't, he understood that he might have to leave. The Reds hope that Elliott's departure will not cause trouble to itself like Palmer's regret after leaving Manchester City.
