Lakers forward James' podcast program "The Brain of the Field" aired in the 13th episode of the second season. The "ring culture" that James and Nash talked about in this issue has sparked heated discussion.
I am British, and I think Americans always like to use team achievements to devalue personal talents. This obsession is really strange - and I feel that they will never change this problem. But then again, this can be used as an introduction or intermediate link in the discussion at most and should not be the final conclusion.
The number of championships is often a watershed when discussing players with similar talent and greatness. Take Barkley and Malone as examples. It is well known that these two are the most outstanding power forwards in history. Even if they have no championship in their lifetime, it will not prevent people from praising their legend. But in terms of historical status, most people will not compare them with Duncan, who has won five championships. It is the hard indicator of the championship that has allowed Duncan to stand out from many players in the same position, even if others are almost the same as him in terms of personal data.
