Türkiye s coach talks about European Championship finals: I hope the referee reduces misjudgment. We have no pressure

Regarding law enforcement against referees, Ataman said: "We hope that referees can concentrate and focus and not make major decision mistakes. In basketball games, like players, referees can make mistakes occasionally, which is normal. I only hope that my players can make fewer mistakes and referees can also reduce misjudgments. I don't care which referees enforce the law, but they must be clear: this is the matchup between the two strongest teams in this tournament. In the end, it should be a team that performs better and deserves victory to win the championship without being disturbed by referees' penalty."

Regarding the pressure before the final, Ataman said: "Five minutes ago, someone told me that everyone is under a lot of pressure now, especially the staff of our Turkish Basketball Association. I told They, perhaps when I played the Europa League final for the first time in my coaching life, I still had this pressure; but since then, I have never had any more pressure—it was just a basketball game. I will do my best to coach the team in the best way, and I believe my players will not be under much pressure. On the way to the press conference, I also joked with Ottoman that we have all had experiences in the finals of Panasinaikos and Olympiacos—the atmosphere of the field, the huge pressure, the fierce confrontation, we have all experienced it. For us, this kind of high-intensity game is no longer nervous, especially after acquiring a wealth of experience in the finals of Athens, the pressure is nothing at all."
