Team 11 advanced to the Women s Asian Cup, with only one seat left in the air

After the qualifiers on July 5, six more teams won tickets to the 2026 Women's Football Asian Cup. Currently, 11 teams have qualified for promotion through the qualifiers.

The latest batch of teams to advance include the Indian Women's Football Team (Group B), Chinese Taipei Women's Football Team (Group D), Vietnam Women's Football Team (Group E), Uzbekistan Women's Football Team (Group F), Philippine Women's Football Team (Group G) and North Korean Women's Football Team (Group H).

Previously, 5 teams have confirmed the qualifications for the Women's Asian Cup, including 4 teams that do not need to participate in the qualifiers, namely the host Australian Women's Football Team and the top three Chinese Women's Football Team, Japanese Women's Football Team and Korean Women's Football Team in the last Women's Football Team. The fifth team advanced to the Bangladesh Women's Football Team: They qualified from Group C one round ahead of schedule.

There is only one seat left and is pending, and the result will be drawn after the end of the Group A game. The group includes the Iranian women's football team, Jordan women's football team (host), Lebanese women's football team, Singapore women's football team and Bhutan women's football team. According to the schedule, the Group A competition starts on July 7 and ends on July 19.

Among the 11 teams that have advanced, only the Bangladesh women's football team participated in the Asian Cup for the first time. This is a historic moment for women’s football in Bangladesh.
