I feel good, really good. And I think the motivation this year is a bit different - I no longer focus on personal performance. Of course, the same was true last season. Last season was perfect for me: I first won the team honors, and then all the individual awards came. So now I feel that "I have taken everything I should take, and I don't need to rely on personal awards to prove anything to anyone."

Now I want to pass on my experience to young players, help the team win the Premier League championship again, and implant the winning mentality into their hearts, so that they know that "Liverpool is a different club, and we must work hard here."

Fans love how you work hard, not just win the ball itself - it is important to always show desire and fighting spirit in the game. I just want to teach these experiences to young players now, hoping that they can slowly understand them.

Looking back on your entire career, including this season, have your hunger and driving force decreased? Because this seems to be one of your most prominent traits.

I don't think so, because I always find reasons to keep myself hungry. I always remember the days when I was a child - I played football for happiness and love. Let’s look at myself now, and I can come to Anfield...

Every time at the beginning of the season, I will look at the fans. First of all, I will feel that “I’m so lucky to be here and play football with the fans.” I came from Egypt and was able to achieve my current achievements, play football at Anfield, and become a star here. This is so special, it is really so special. Sometimes when I see photos of training, I think, “Wow, I’m so lucky to be able to work here.”

Of course, every morning when I wake up, I will pray first, then meditate, and be grateful - thank myself for being alive and for having everything I am now. There are millions of people who yearn for being in my place, so I am really grateful for everything I have achieved and for who I am now.
