Neville: The situation at Liverpool is very worrying and Slott needs to start over

November 24 Commentator Gary Neville was interviewed recently. He warned Slott to completely overthrow his Liverpool plan and start over.
Neville said: "It's worrying, very worrying. I don't want to add insult to injury because the reality is that when you have won the league and you have a group of players who have proven themselves over a long period of time and a manager who has proven themselves, you are allowed to have a slump."
"It can't always be easy, but generally speaking, it doesn't get this bad. They have to stop the decline now, they have to stop it now. They may have thought that they could turn things around after the game against Manchester City and the international break, but the decline continues, so they have to do something, they have to intervene."
When asked what Slott needs to do, Neville added: "When you are in a losing streak like this or going through a decline like that, I think about it from a personal perspective. "You just have to go back to the basics, and that means you have to go to the extreme, and I mean they may have been very particular about their diet, but I'm talking about putting in an extra level of detail, focus and concentration in everything you do."
"That may mean the manager has to be more fundamental in his style, and he may have to go back to the fact that you have a few players up front who can win you games, but 'how do we keep zero How can we be more solid at the back? How can we be more solid in the midfield? '"
"They are still trying to play some open and expressive ways, but you have to strip everything back to the basics and pretend that you are starting from scratch. When the slump gets to this level, it is not just a minor setback, it is becoming a real worrying point for Liverpool."
