These penalties were made after Atletico Madrid complaints, citing inappropriate gestures by the players after the European derby. In addition to the fine, Rudiger and Mbappe were also banned from a UEFA event, but this penalty will be suspended within one year and will only take effect if the violation is again. UEFA stated in its resolution that there was no reason to revoke the decision made by the Committee on Control, Ethics and Discipline on April 4, and clearly stated: "The appeal filed by Real Madrid Club was rejected.
