Jamaica coach: Greenwood says he wants to focus on the club, not the national team

September 6th News Recently, in an interview, Jamaica national team coach McLaren said that Greenwood will not join the Jamaica national team for the time being.

McLaren said: "We have applied for him for a passport and are looking forward to him being able to attend this training camp, but after talking to his family, we learned that the players are not going to make a commitment to any national team at the moment."

"He is thinking slowly, so it's a bit disappointing. We may need to be more patient, but we will still stay in touch and continue to fight for him. Because from my conversation with Greenwood and his family, he loves and respects Jamaica."

"He wants to focus on the club's game now and is not willing to join the national team immediately. We have to respect his decision, although we have made a lot of effort to get him to participate in this training camp. No one can tell what's going on."
