May 16th Italian reporter Longo reported that Chelsea priced 50 million euros for Vega, which Juventus thinks is too high.
Renato Vega convinced Juventus with his personal charm and technical ability in the past six months, but his valuation still failed to convince the Zebras. Chelsea's 50 million euros permanent transfer asking price set by the Portuguese player was regarded as too high by Juventus.
Vega is open to joining Juventus and he has had a very pleasant stay in Turin. In the Zebra Legion's plan, he can be one of the core protagonists, and this factor is quite important. Although Chelsea coach Maresca admires him very much, his playing space in the Blues is more limited. Because of this, although leaving the team is the most likely ending, Vega still looks forward to a positive turn in order to continue to stay in Italy next season.
Regardless of whether Vega stays or not, Juventus will continue to strengthen the defense. Jontoli was impressed by Parma defender Giovanni Leoni, and the club will take quick action to try to introduce it.
