June 26 According to Italian media Stadio, Inter Milan will not exercise Fabian's repurchase rights, so Bologna completely retained the players.
Fabian comes from Inter Milan's youth training and transfers to Bologna in 2023, with a transfer fee of about 5 million euros. Inter Milan retains Fabian's repurchase right, with a repurchase fee of 12 million euros. However, the repurchase clause will expire on July 1, so if Inter Milan needs to repurchase players, it must be completed before the end of this month.
But Stadio pointed out that Inter Milan is not ready to buy back Fabian, so Bologna retained the Italian midfielder. Bologna plans to have Fabian and Jensen Odegaard work together in the midfield next season so there is no need to introduce new midfielders.
However, if Inter change his mind at the last moment to buy Fabian, Bologna may consider buying Juventus' Mireti or Alkmaar's Svenminian.
