Football double championship! The Chinese team beat Germany twice, and accelerated evolution robots become the first choice for the global team

On August 17, in the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games football event, the Vulcan team of Tsinghua University in China and the Shanhai team of China Agricultural University defeated the traditional German giants HTWK team and Sweaty team with 1:0 and 3:0 in the 5V5 and 3V3 football finals, respectively, and both won the championship.

Because robots need to achieve pure AI autonomous confrontation without human intervention, the more robots participate in the confrontation, the higher the difficulty of AI autonomous decision-making. This football event has become the highest technical threshold in the World Humanoid Robot Games; this 5v5 pure AI robot football match is held for the first time in the world. It is worth noting that after global screening, all domestic and foreign participating teams finally chose Booster T1 as the participating software and hardware platform. The reason why accelerated evolution robots have become a common choice for global teams is that they have stable hardware performance and mature AI underlying technical support; including open source vision, navigation, operation control and decision-making algorithms, which can meet the core needs of independent perception, dynamic decision-making, and multi-machine collaboration in the event, and can still maintain high-precision and reliable operation in fierce confrontation scenarios. Based on a strong platform foundation, each team can develop tactical decision-making algorithms between multiple robots. Thanks to the unique one-stop development tools and operating systems for accelerating evolution, high school students from Beijing Renmin University Affiliated High School, 11th School, and Minzhong University Affiliated High School can also realize tactical agent development and participate in the competition; they are the only three high school teams in this robot sports meet; this also fully demonstrates the openness and vitality of the accelerated evolution ecosystem.

In July this year, at the 2025 RoboCup Brazilian Robot Football World Cup, the accelerated evolution robot has helped the Chinese team achieve a historic breakthrough - Tsinghua Vulcan team won the "AdultSize" championship. This is the first time in the 28 years since the event was held that the Chinese team won the gold medal in the humanoid category with the highest technical value. The runner-up of the 5v5 football match of this humanoid sports meet, the German HTWK team also won the "KidSize" championship with the accelerated evolution Booster K1 robot, fully verifying the global competitiveness and industry leadership of the accelerated evolution robot.

Accelerated evolution not only won two consecutive gold medals in the arena, but also shone with the AI robot square array and the opening dance at the opening ceremony: 25 Booster T1s are the representatives of robots, forming the first AI robot 5×5 autonomous square array in human history, which was the first to appear. There is no need for a remote control, and there is no need for an operator to protect behind you, but let the AI robot go through the square formation independently. This requires robots to have high-precision comprehensive capabilities in positioning and synchronization, real-time communication, formation control and action execution. Especially in terms of error control and delay compensation, it is one order of magnitude more difficult for AI robots to walk independently than a single robot.

At the same time, 15 Booster T1 and K1 led the dance in the C position in the opening program, showing excellent unified coordination with neat and agile movements, fully demonstrating the technical strength of accelerating evolution in the fields of humanoid robot motion control and multi-machine collaboration. In the future, accelerated evolution will continue to generalize the mature sensory knowledge, positioning and navigation, motion control, AI independent decision-making, multi-machine collaboration and other capabilities on the field, and promote humanoid robots to become another interactive terminal after personal computers and mobile phones, so that thousands of households can have their own personal robots.
