Boca Chairman Riquelme: I hope Paredes will join Boca after the Club World Cup ends

June 14th, Argentina's Boca Club Chairman Riquelme said that he hopes that Paredes will return to Boca after the Club World Cup.

The 30-year-old Paredes is an Argentine international midfielder. He debuted in Boca and currently plays for Roma. He made 32 appearances in the 2024-25 season, scoring 4 goals and assists 2 times. Boca has always wanted to sign Paredes back, and there are special terms in Paredes contract. Boca only needs to pay 3.5 million euros to get Paredes.

Boca chairman Riquelme said: "I talk to Paredes often and I am lucky to have a good relationship with him for a long time. In fact, I am very excited and eager to get him, and the door is always open for him. Now my enthusiasm is greater than in January this year, and I think we have a chance to get him.
