According to a reporter from the NBA Nuggets team, the team has signed with free agent forward Kessler Edwards, who received an exhibition10 training camp contract. His contract with the Mavericks expired during the offseason and did not get a chance to renew his contract.
Kesler Edwards, playing as a forward, played for the NBA Mavericks in the 2024-2025 season. He played in a total of 39 games in the regular season, averaged 15.7 minutes per game, scored 4.3 points + 2.9 rebounds + 1.1 assists + 0.5 steals + 0.5 blocks, shot percentage of 49.0%, three-point shooting percentage of 40.0%, and free throw shooting percentage of 92.0%.
The reason why the NBA Nuggets signed Kessler Edwards was because he had strong physical athletic ability, certain shooting skills, and especially a stable outside three-pointer. He hoped to continue to give him the opportunity to tap potential, which was equivalent to buying a lottery scratch. Whether Edwards could seize the opportunity to go ashore again depends on his performance. If he could fully play aggressiveness and dominance, he might get a future Porter!
