September 10th Serbian player Misic, who played for the Suns for a brief last season, talked about his former teammate Durant on a podcast show this week.
Misic revealed that Durant was "surprised" by the way the Sun was used. "KD was surprised by his low tactical status in the Suns, which is also a factor in why he finally left the team." Misic said.
Durant led the team's scoring list with 26.6 points per game last season, but the 28.3% ball usage rate is behind Booker (28.5%). Misic continued to reveal: "Young players like Ryan Dunn actually enjoy training with KD. Although he always plays a stunning aura that people are not close to, he is actually very easy-going. He only keeps alert for self-protection. In fact, KD is very willing to communicate with others, and the ball quota is very high."
Misic revealed that KD had in-depth communication with himself during his ankle rehabilitation: "His understanding of basketball is completely another dimension, and all success is by no means accidental. In addition to hard training, he will also carefully study every opponent."
