On August 28, the NBA entered the offseason. Recently, Pacers star Halliburton was interviewed. He said that he expected to wait until 15 months before he could make a comeback. In addition, he repeatedly stated that he did not regret forcibly playing in the finals tiebreak.

In this year's playoffs, Halliburton performed well, leading the Pacers to eliminate the Bucks, Cavaliers and Knicks to the finals. Haliburton dragged the finals into a tiebreak battle with injuries. However, just as the tiebreak battle began, Halliburton suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, and the Pacers also lost the G7 in the finals.

Recently, Halliburton talked about his injuries in an interview. When asked when he would be able to play again, he said he would return before the start of training camp in 2026. Halliburton said, "I think I will wait about 15 months before I will play the next game."

When talking about my injury-fighting in the finals, Halliburton said, "I have been straining my calf before, so I went to see the team doctor. He told me: If it was the regular season, I would give you two to three weeks off. But that was the finals. I was thinking, what kidding? Do you think I would sit off the court? I won't reveal my specific name, but some of my close friends, family and mentors called me and advised me: Hey, stop playing."

When asked if I regretted it When persisting in playing with injuries caused a tear of the Achilles tendon, Halliburton said, "No, absolutely not." Then Halliburton also revealed, "To be honest, I called Durant after the MRI after the G5 game, and I asked him: Brother, will you regret playing in the game where the Achilles tendon was torn? He replied: No, not at all. I thought at the time: OK. Actually, I wouldn't change my decision at all, but after hearing what he said, I felt more at ease. But no matter what, I will never regret it, brother."
