On November 24 (local time on the 23rd), the NBA Los Angeles Lakers challenged the Utah Jazz away. After entering the fourth quarter with a 3-point lead, Austin Reeves, LeBron James, Rui Hachimura and Luka Doncic scored consecutively, establishing a 13-point (102–89) lead with 4 minutes and 41 seconds left in the game.

Doncic performed well against the Jazz.

However, the Jazz at home then launched a fierce counterattack. Keyante George's three-pointer sounded the horn, and Lauri Markkanen's alley-oops and long shots succeeded one after another, closing the gap to 1 point (107–106) with 41.3 seconds left in the game. At the critical moment, Doncic made one of two free throws with 5.8 seconds left in the game, and the Lakers successfully prevented the Jazz's last attack, and finally won a thrilling 108-106, taking away an away victory.

The Los Angeles Lakers (12 wins and 4 losses), which has won four consecutive games, surpassed the Denver Nuggets (12 wins and 4 losses) and rose to second place in the Western Conference by virtue of their wins and losses. They are 4.0 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder (17 wins and 1 loss) at the top.

In the game against the Jazz on the 24th, Doncic scored a game-high 33 points, 11 rebounds, 3 steals and 8 assists; Reeves scored 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists; LeBron contributed 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists; Hachimura scored 13 points and 6 rebounds.

So far this season, Doncic has averaged a league-high 34.5 points per game, as well as 8.8 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 2.0 steals per game. In 12 games played, Doncic has accumulated 414 points, 105 rebounds and 107 assists, thus setting another new record - he became the first player in NBA history to achieve "400 points + 100 assists" in the first 12 games of the regular season.

Under the leadership of Doncic, the Los Angeles Lakers will face the Los Angeles Clippers on the 26th and the Dallas Mavericks on the 29th. It is worth mentioning that the team's starting center Deandre Ayton left the game with a right knee contusion in the second quarter of the game against the Jazz. Hopefully, his injury will not lead to a long-term absence.
