Clippers forward Collins laughed at the Jazz deal: I think my offense is too efficient

On July 26, NBA Clippers' new forward John Collins was interviewed by a podcast column in Los Angeles, and humorously responded to the focus of the Jazz's three-party transactions to the Clippers during the offseason: "

It is obvious that the reason for the Jazz's trade surprised everyone. They said that my offensive scores were too efficient in the game, and always allowed the team to win, which completely affected the Jazz's goal of playing badly. They always fabricated various reasons for my injury to be absent before the game. I once thought whether it would make the outside world really think that my body was full of hidden dangers of injury. In the future, it would definitely make all teams intimidate in the trading market!"

"Of course this is just a joke. I did encounter embarrassing problems with the Jazz, and I have hindered the team's reconstruction. I am very grateful to the Jazz for their pace. They sent me to the Clippers and rekindled my passion and energy in the game. Here are super teammates Harden, Leonard, Zubac, etc. I am very happy to join them. We have the opportunity to sprint towards the great goal of the championship in the new season. This is a brand new journey and I am full of excitement! ”

28-year-old John Collins, who plays as a power forward, plays for the NBA Jazz in 2024-2025. He plays for 40 games in the regular season, averages 30.5 minutes per game, and can score 19.0 points + 8.2 rebounds + 2.0 assists + 1.0 steals + 1.0 blocks, shooting percentage of 52.0%, three-point shooting percentage of 39.0%, and free throw shooting percentage of 84.0%.
