The first Azerbaijani player in team history! Barcelona official: 17-year-old young player Babayev joins the youth team

August 30th, Barcelona officially announced the signing of Azerbaijan's 17-year-old Ibrahim Babayev, and the player will temporarily play for Barcelona youth team.
Babayev also has Swiss nationality, and he became the first Azerbaijani player to wear the Red and Blue Army jersey. Previously, Babayev had been trying out for several days in Barcelona, and he signed a contract with the Red and Blue Army this Friday.
Babayev plays as a midfielder on the court. He comes from the Geneva youth training system, and then he starts playing football in Servette. At the national team level, he is now Azerbaijan U17 international.
