June 28th, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandez rejected the generous offer from Riyadh Crescent and chose to stay at Manchester United.
Red Devils legend Sheringham said: "I think it's great that he stayed, and Bruno realized how big a club Manchester United is. And Manchester United might have the same idea, they could have sold the 30-year-old to the Saudis for around £100 million. So they can use the money to bring in new players and set off again.
"But Bruno did a great job and he also understood that United is not in the best situation at the moment, but they are still one of the largest clubs in the world and you'll be willing to stay there for as long as possible. I really like Bruno, and he is certainly a top player. Moreover, whether or not Manchester United is Bruno is completely different. ”
